HOW DOES A BEARD TRANSPLANTATION WORK?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Just like in a hair transplantation, hair follicles are extracted from the donor area (neck) using the FUE technique and transplanted with a special beard and mustache needle at an angle of 35-40 degrees. When applied in this manner, it is indistinguishable from a natural beard and mustache.<\/p>\n

The design is created according to the desired model by the individual and as deemed appropriate by the team (suitable for facial structure, skin texture).<\/p>\n

The beard\/mustache, which continues to grow after the beard transplantation, can be trimmed with scissors on the 15th day. The first shave should be done at least 1 month later to keep the roots in place.<\/p>\n

A beard transplantation is an outpatient surgical procedure aimed at increasing the patient’s capillary density in the beard, mustache, and sideburn areas if desired, to enhance volume, define and improve the appearance of the face in cases of uneven hair growth.<\/p>\n

    Patients initially have a personal consultation with the doctor to evaluate the donor area and the receiving area to determine their eligibility for a beard transplantation. This allows us to estimate how many follicles are needed and how many can be extracted to achieve the desired results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Next, the design of the beard and mustache is created according to the patient’s preferences and needs. It is crucial to have harmony with the patient’s facial structure, ethnic background, and age when designing a beard pattern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In the operating room, the follicles are first extracted. Subsequently, the extracted follicles are implanted in the beard and mustache area, depending on where the patient wants to increase the volume of their facial hair. The entire procedure is performed under local anesthesia and gentle sedation if the patient desires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The duration of the operation can range from 3-6 hours, depending on the patient’s case. The recovery process is 10 days. During the first days after the beard transplantation, itching may occur in the receiving area. For successful results, it is crucial not to rub the implanted follicles in the treated area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Results in the beard will be visible after three months, but the final results will be evident after 6-12 months. In the third month, new beard hair will grow on the patient’s face, and by the sixth month, the volume of the patient’s beard will be more apparent. One year after the hair transplantation, the patient will achieve the planned design to the maximum and enjoy the final result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Similar to a hair transplantation, there is no pain experienced, and no scars will form. However, only individuals with sufficient donor hair are suitable; those with a bald or weak donor area are unfortunately not suitable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
