“Mercure Istanbul holds the JCI Accreditation for the quality and safety of patient care.”

We are recognized by the Dutch Hair Foundation

The Dutch Hair Foundation is a recognized non-profit charitable foundation with ANBI status. The foundation is the central platform for all matters related to ‘hair.’ Currently, the Dutch Hair Foundation is even the most visited charitable foundation in the Netherlands. Mercure Istanbul carries the certification of the Dutch Hair Foundation.

The Dutch Hair Foundation is there for everyone, dealing with any type of hair problem, providing information, assistance, and support.

The foundation achieves this by facilitating the sharing of experiences, providing information, and, among other things, by conducting online tests to connect people with hair loss and hair problems with professionals such as dermatologists, hair transplant clinics, and psychologists. This also lowers the barrier for these individuals to seek help.

The Dutch Hair Foundation distinguishes itself from other foundations and information sites because it is entirely independent and offers a complete package to people with hair diseases and problems.

Additionally, the Dutch Hair Foundation invests in scientific research, develops certifications, and works on new treatment methods.

Mercure Istanbul has obtained the JCI Certification

Mercure Istanbul has obtained the JCI Certification for the quality and safety of patient care, education, and research. The quality certification is awarded by Joint Commission International (JCI), an international healthcare accreditation body.

Mercure Istanbul has opted for JCI accreditation because of its focus on providing safe care and attention to education and research. JCI is based on the principle of ‘continuous improvement,’ which aligns with Mercure Istanbul’s commitment.

JCI evaluates based on 1400 standards, through the review of policy documents, departmental visits, and discussions with staff and patients. JCI auditors assess the quality and safety of our patient care, education, research, as well as supporting processes such as medical equipment, cleaning, and (fire) safety.

JCI is recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO)

JCI is recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) and established to improve the quality, safety, and efficiency in healthcare. They operate according to a patient-centered framework to which they assess organizations, with a focus on quality and (patient) safety. With accreditation, we meet the requirements set by IGZ and health insurers.
